Club Manager - Lazy Lizard

The biggest one yet, we are opening an 800+ capacity Ibizan late-night bar, located in the heart of the City Centre. Taking inspiration from iconic bars and clubs from the White Isle, we are set to become Manchester hottest new venue for House Music. The bar will operate till 4am Thursday -Saturday with the opportunity for private hire, buyouts and one-off club nights on the remaining days. On split levels, this large space boasts a 200+ capacity VIP mezzanine, state of the art sound systems and light projections, and will attract world class DJs, events and performers.

A love of hedonism, house music and all things Ibizan is advantageous, along with proven track record in a similar fast-paced, cocktail led, late night, high volume business.

The Club Manager will be the integral cog in the management team, making sure that all operational requirements are met, running the venue, and leading the team. You will be expected to undertake customer facing roles where necessary such as complaint handling, working on the bar, serving our guests, managing the queue/host team and dealing with venue enquiries.

Hula Heaton Moor is our newest venture set in the leafy suburbs of Heaton Moor at the end of October. Hours are approx. 30 per week but these can be supplemented at one of our other Hula bars, or across the road at Tusk HM if more hours are required. Full training will be given, but those with mixology experience is favourable! Hours are around 25-30 per week but there is the opportunity to top these up at our other Hula venues, or across the road at Tusk Heaton Moor.

Tusk Heaton Moor opened in August 2016 and is the new kid on the block! Boasting a contemporary décor and relaxing ambience, Tusk has a 65 cover restaurant and expansive bar area. Our cocktail menu is based on classics with some MAD twists, and we have a great selection of wines, beers, spirits and an ever-growing bar trade. The successful candidate will be responsible for the North of England area, and will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with suppliers and clients, generating leads and qualifying prospects.

Responsibilities:

  • ‪Making appointments to meet new and existing customers

Hours

‪Your working hours would be 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. You may be able to choose your hours as long as you meet your sales targets. Making enough appointments to meet the needs of all your customers could mean that you sometimes need to put in longer hours. This could include working evenings and weekends.

As you will cover a wide geographical area you will be required to spend much of your time out of the office travelling to and meeting with clients. When not on the road, you will be based in Manchester.
